Fleeting Thought on a Neervous Morning
While rummaging around for my checkbook this morning, I realized that the last real check I had written was in 2003. I pay everything electronically, and these days I'm lucky if I can even locate the checkbook in a pinch. That's probably not a very good thing...
All other thoughts have been overridden by a natural sense of new-job petrification. Will write tomorrow.

if it makes you feel any better, i write at least one check a month (stupid mortgage) and still have trouble finding my check book...in my bag!

hey this happens to me too! Who uses checks anymore - and why isn't checks spelled "checques"

pah, the proper spelling is cheques ;)
I never use them either, i have no idea where my chequebook is. I also hate it when people pay me by cheque - it normally sits on the side for 6 months before i can be bothered to go into a bank and cash it.

Way to paranoid to give up my land line.
Do you know I was able to find your Grandma's/my Mom's house on Google Earth? I knew they were watching us. Thankfully Glen Oaks is very fuzzy which I believe is our natural state.

Not only do I still have a "real phone number"--aka a land line--I use my checkbook to get cash because I don't have an ATM card. Good Luck Corie you can do it! *hugs*
