The Great Chill

2007-10-29%2001.jpg

Oh snap! It actually feels like fall outside- it was under 40 degrees when I woke up this morning. The weather has ushered in the following feline attributes:

  1. The feline ruff (see Olive);
  2. The weeble appearance (see Irving);*
  3. Two cats sleeping like lead at night, one between us, the other like a small yet heavy dead caterpillar next to my neck (see Olive);
  4. The feline cling-on factor (see both);
  5. Massive consumption of cat kibble to keep warm (see #1 & #2 of this list) because apparently, there is an underlying belief among the cats of this household that food provisions will run dry in mid-winter. Either that, or all four cats are part squirrel.

I'll be back in a day or two with non-feline thoughts. Still catching up on life on the East Coast- so weird how five days away can leave everything so scattered.

Funny how a little cool weather changes them into heat-seeking missil--, er, limpets.
