Summer Street. Northampton, MA; August 1998

Taken with my Pentax K1000, which I sorely miss and need to buy a new battery for.

We're off to Saratoga Springs tonight to get away and recharge. There will be wine and barbecue and trees and little antique shop stops along the way. It is greatly neeeded.

I also have deep suspicions that our West Coast neice/nephew might meet the world today, so let's keep our fingers crossed and channel some joy toward the little one and its potential debut!
HUZZAH! IT'S A GIRL!

I LOVE the K1000!! I used one all through college until the light meter finally conked out. My husband just bought me a new one for Christmas and its just like old times. Honestly, you can't beat fully manual cameras and you get such great results with the K1000.
Lovely photo, as well.

I think the only thing we might be attacked by is an older, fatter version of this.

So Exciting! Congrats! I just love when people wait to find out the sex of the baby. I'm not sure if I will have the patience but I hope I do!
Have fun!!
