Celebration, Part I

2006-04-29 45.jpg

Thank you to everyone who made it out to Red Hook on Saturday to celebrate the beginning of our wedding festivities. What better way to express your love than to dance down Van Brunt Street with a giant French marching band and so many of your wonderful loved ones? Some very special thanks to Pustule, Hungry March Band and Pioneer Bar-B-Q.

Hooray! We are getting married!

This is possibly the happiest thing I've ever seen -- brilliant. Congratulations and very best wishes.

It was SO MUCH FUN. One of the best parts was when people came out onto their stoops or sidewalk and cheered us on. Very fun. A perfect start for the week.

Fabulous! I'm sorry I couldn't make it there on Saturday but I'm glad the event was a success. By the way, I love your skirt (or this that a dress).

SO SAD I MISSED THIS!!!
:(
But SO HAPPY for you two! Corie--you are RADIANT! You look... like a kid discovering everthing for the first time. For real, the face I see is more like the little girl I met years ago... you are regressing! We should all be so lucky to recapture totatlly innocent, pure joy. Love you guys.

I'm cheering you two on from down here in NC.

Could you have had more beautiful weather for a parade? I don't think so.

Many congratulations! Have a great day! Just sitting here musing on the pre-marital event gauntlet that's you've laid down. If ever an idea was worth stealing!

You guys are too adorable. I can practically hear the music. This picture especially reminds me of the "Music Man"- you being Marion Madame Librarian and Alexis being Professor Harold Hill. Too cute.

I'm also sad I missed this! What a way to celebrate. The pictures are so wonderful.
