But?

How does one lose a bunny in the city, anyway? This bunny looks like he's posing for a lineup. I wonder what his story is.

The absurdity of this has me choking on my coffee.
Perhaps the caption should read WANTED instead.

Poor little bunny--he does look terrified! Greg used to have a bunny that ran around the house free and used a litter box. He would hop to the front door in excitement to greet the boys when they got home from school. How cute is that?

Cheesebus (my old roommate) had a new roommate with a bunny named Grandma. Grandma pooped all over the place and chewed through the phone wires.

Maybe he was some kid's easter present last year and the people got sick of cleaning up after it and turned it out to fend for itself. People do it when their puppies and kittens turn into dogs and cats, rabbits are no different.

Some people really suck.

HILARIOUS!!! That's awesome. He does look like he's in a line-up. Who poses their pet like that anyway? They could have at least tried a side profile or some more "flattering" angle. But in this case, for identification purposes, I guess it works.

Bernice thought it was a great idea but Harry wasn’t convinced.

“Sure, we get caught and everyone looks at you and says ‘Oooh, the cute bunny!’, but they take one look at a hamster like me and think ‘Rat!’”.

“But this is our only chance for a long time, Harry.” Bernice's voice quavered. “You know how infrequently she ever goes to the laundromat. We just crawl into the dirty underwear and make a break for it when she goes to load the dark stuff.”

Now Bernice wished she had listened to Harry. He had freaked and run behind the drier almost immediately. Picked up by some busybody who couldn’t leave well enough alone before she was even a block from the laundromat, she was cornered in the new apartment, back against the wall. “My stinking luck”, she cursed, “a goddamn goody two shoes who keeps calling me “he” and thinks 358 turds on the floor is cute.”

Then the cat appeared…

Talked with the owner of Love Thy Pet on Union Street in Carroll Gardens about their bunny. It was a rescue bunny. She said they get all the cats and the police station across the street gets all the bunnies.

Was this on Columbia? A bunny used to live in someone's yard there.

I think this is a gag, people.

I should note that this is a photograph from Venice Beach, CA. People lose bunnies there all the time.
