What's Going on Here?
Did someone slip up with the stock photos in this morning's Daily News? What is up with these people grinning? Nobody in NYC grins like that, especially during an impending transit strike, which is where this photo is from. Are we supposed to believe that these people are exuberantly making their way to the carpool staging area? And what on earth is the person on the left wearing? Is this photograph even from this decade?

I agree with Tien - no good can come from reading the Daily News. I think this photo dates back to the mid 80's - note the hair and drug induced grins.

yeah, I'm agreeing that it's a pic from the last transit strike. Or a gum commercial or something. Those smiles! They're downright joyful!
