Leaves Aren't Down but the Lights are Up

2005-11-22 moving.jpg

Well, actually, the leaves have indeed fallen. It is hard to believe that the holiday season (how is it that the "holiday season" now stretches into November?) is immediately upon us.

Truthfully, Lex and I have not had a moment to breathe in the past month. While much of it has been hard work for a great end, other pieces still weigh down upon us and do not seem to have a resolution at any point soon. I still feel like the world is going to come crashing in when I wake in the morning and both of us hope that these anxieties will be soothed in the coming weeks.

Regardless, we have much to be thankful for. The extended LexaCor brood (the families, not the cats) will converge upon the city tomorrow for some good eats and plentiful drink. Immediately thereafter, Lex and I begin the frantic pack-and-move, with a goal date of Sunday to be in and starting to get settled. There's a good chance that we will only be able to filtch wifi during the next week or more, so expect some posting lapses.

I will return with tales of movers and cats. I promise.

Good luck with the family gatherings and the movings. Try to stay sane. PS: I love Mr. Irving in the box. It looks like he's trying to say something to you.
