Sensitivity

Dear NYTimes Distribution Services,

I would like to express my extreme exasperation regarding your untimely bodega delivery practices in Brooklyn. You see, I am a regimented, morning-obsessive person who needs the newspaper to complete her morning ritual.

My guess is that you deliver earlier to places more in demand. I can respect this, though during my years living in the Upper East Side, you rarely got the paper to stores before 7:00 a.m. In Red Hook, it is rare to find your wares until 7:30 or 8:00 a.m., forcing me to continuously buy the Post.

People, please. No one wants to start their morning on the assumption that the world’s news centers on Britney Spears’ pregnancy. The alternative? The Daily News and a byline that uses the term “buff babe.” It is just painful.

Of course, maybe I am being insensitive. Being that I am about to step into a three-hour sensitivity training, perhaps I will leave with a newfound respect for crappy newspapers. In that case, disregard this message.

Thank you and have a nice day.

I had the same issue when I lived in Flatbush and I have the same issue now, in Forest Hills...not to mention that not a whole lot of places here in Forest Hills even carry it...Starbucks is one, and CVS is a sometimes.

I wish that I could get more used to reading the paper online, but I hate the format.

Plus, if you don't live in a doorman building, people are not beneath stealing your paper!
