Working from Home

I stayed home today, as we are expecting company early in the afternoon. I figured I would get a few work-related items done via the web in the AM, then try and fix the kitchen faucet and do some cleaning.

What I was not anticipating was the DEAFENING drilling that would take place in the building next door.

I've experienced the same type of construction noise from time to time at my design office while trying to work. It's enough to drive you crazy.

I think that they have taken a lunch break, thankfully.

Ohhhaahhhhh! Where did you get your wallhangings...I just luuurve them!

They're actually from China-- a friend of mine brought them back for me. I'm sure that you could find something similar in Chinatown, though. They're scrolls of the 4 seasons, though I still haven't completely figured out which is which.

does olive do that for any specific reason? mr bones likes to sit around and warble like that too.

from what we have deduced, it is her "HELLO??? I'M HERE PLAY WITH ME!" voice. it usually happens when a) our backs are to her or b) we're in the other room.

I think Olive is part owl. Her eyes can get quite buggy.
