Up Late

Up late with Olga waiting for my almost-husband.

Olga's got that "Yeesh.. is this what I have to look forward to from my new stepmother?" look on her face.
Then again, it might also be a "Yeesh, doesn't this fool woman realize that my armpits are now supporting MUCH more weight than they were designed for?" look on her face.

I think it was the latter-- kind of like when you pick a cubby infant up and they're not strong enough to keep their body straight so they just slump.
Olga and I were discussing her shedding problem. She is like a cartoon character. Each time she shook her head or body, an entire kitten would slough off of her and onto my book.

I see an excellent new non-profit opportunity in our future...
cat weaves for the poor balding kittens in some third world country.

Like the birth of GODS.
She shook for two days and all the cats in the land fell from her fur!

Poor Olga. They say that a cat will shed something like 15lbs of fur in a lifetime...

I hear they are developing a new Showtime series for me: Fat cat. OK, the hair issue may be a wee problem, but I am sure there is some sort of medication for that. I must be a star!

Something about the phrase "almost-husband" made the upcoming nuptuals that much more real to me. Yay!
