Forced Break
Callalillie will be on a sporadic schedule for the next few days.
In short, my best friend's husband is gravely ill. I want to be be there for her and their three month old child. I want to take away all of the pain and fear and helplessnes.
At the very least, I want to take out the trash and run the requisite errands needed to keep her life running, even if she feels as though the world has stopped.
As I write this I am watching an angelic, sleeping baby boy out of the corner of my eye, wondering why life can be so beautiful, yet at the same time so harsh.
