The Devils of Truth Steal the Souls of the Free

Horatio Street & 8th Avenue
Yes, the title is a bit harsh, but I was listening to the song en route to work and the lyrics stuck.
Last night-- after sitting for an hour with fellow coop-ers discussing our ever-growing building quagmire, then taking stock of the many non-closing, non-locking doors and large, ominous cracks running down the southwest corners of our walls-- I flopped into my own abode and promptly worried myself sick.
I have not twisted myself up into such reverse-digestive frenzy since adolescence. As a child, I would worry myself sick often, though I cannot remember exactly what caused such inner turmoil. It has been a long time, and the ever familiar stomach pains, nausea, and eventual hurtling myself toward the bathroom took me by absolute surprise. While I have accepted the fact that I am genetically nervous person predisposed to overly dramatic worrying, I thought that I had overcome the physical reactions.
These are the days when I realize that it does not really matter if I am a big or a little kid. Regardless of topic or age, the magnitude of worry strikes with the same tongue. Luckily, now I am old enough to drink.

can you sue the developer next door? or file some sort of insurance claim?

The developer is willing to fix the damage (with the request that we don't get his insurance involved). The bigger issue is the coop conversion mess that we are currently stuck in. We have no financial power-- the sponsor still holds it-- and his management company has not been returning our calls or making any move to assist us in this process.

Clearly you guys need an attorney to help you all sort out this mess (both of them!)
