A Bad Day Before it's Even Started

You know it's going to be a bad day when you go to lock your door and none of the locks line up with the holes in the door frame, when you get to work and find the pile of papers and data that you left there out of frustration the night before just waiting for analysis, and when, alas, the kitten somehow managed to dump the litter box (which has a top, mind you) over and scatter multiple kitty poop all over your hallway floor.
Of course, those points are out of time order, but you get the point.
Pass the boilo. Or even the tang.

My Kitten has a few times decided to throw her crap against the bathroom wall, and she somehow gets the litter in the toliet too.

At least you have that Frank Morrone book on Brooklyn to look at when you get bored.

Lessons learned from 2 hours away from work and a $7 rasp:
1. The door frame wall is plaster, but it has an outer shell of metal. I no longer need to do upper body work at the gym tomorrow, but my Medico lock now catches.
2. There is a tiny switch on the side of my regular door lock, facing the door frame. There are 2 buttons. After filing and lining the lock up over and over again and removing the switch to look at it closely, scratching my head because it seemed to go into the switch just fine, I pressed one of the buttons. The door now locks.
Beers for lunch. Yo ho ho.

My door does that when it rains. Also some mornings, I feel like it's usually Monday mornings, I have to wait until the water "feels like" climbing up to my 4th floor brownstone studio and coming out of the shower head.
P.S. Don't drink the grey goose in the morning unless you mix it with a breakfast beverage

My shower does that too....then it is scalding...then cold. Ah, brownstones. I'm beginning to like the concept of a sleek new highrise.
