‘Tis the Season
Last Tuesday, our normally stark and clinical lobby was transformed into a winter wonderland of sorts, morphing from steel and gray and surveillance cameras to Santa’s barf bag with surveillance cameras. There are now garlands and poinsettias, candy canes and reindeer, all within the backdrop of
ATTENTION!
AS YOU ENTER THIS BUILDING, YOU ARE WARNED THAT YOU MAY BE VIDEO/AUDIO TAPED BY AS MANY AS 21 OR MORE SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS
and our larger than Texas American flag.
When I asked if I could photograph this festive lack of secular sensitivity, I was informed that there is no picture taking in the lobby. Honestly, I was not surprised by this. In fact, it further confirms my suspicion that Dick Cheney’s bunker is located within our basement. Though this has yet to be confirmed, we also surmise that there are small surveillance cameras implanted within the reindeer eyes. They must also be collaborating with the MTA.
Ho Ho Ho. Happy Homeland Security Holidays.

, WTF?

That seems like a lot of security measures for education reform. What else is in the building causing such fuss? Or will you have to kill me after I'm told?
Apparently the security isn't good enough to keep ruffians from smuggling in tin foil! ;)

That is weird...but actually Dick's bunker is out on a 7-mile island called Park Point here in Duluth....I swear...I saw it on Friday....

But do you have a gigantic, wall-sized American flag hanging in your lobby? I think not. Cheney's here, I can feel it.
