Jam in the Machine

Since when did our office vending machine offer jam-related products? I'm impressed.

That reminds me of the time I moved into my current apartment. The landlord had posted a sign at the building's front door. He asked us not to waste water because the reservation was empty.

I'm a little confused. The object that might cause the jam is a yogurt filled nutrigrain bar....so they're not that far from the truth!

... or the old Smothers Brothers routine where one tells the other that after the wedding ceremony they all went to the conception...

My personal favorite was a restroom at Wellesley that read "Out of Odor."

I thought it said "Do not press CIO" (Chief Information Officer) so I avoided poking our Knowledge Management Officer (aka callalilie)

My friend was enamored with a sign on a telephone pole that read:

WARNING!!!
WHOEVER DOING THIS
WE WILL CAUGHT YOU.
AND BRING YOU INTO JUSTICE
WE HAVE CAMMERS MOUNTTED
SOME WHERE. WE WILL SEE YOU.
YOU WILL BE INPRISONMENT-
COMCAST

It was not clear what "THIS" was, but a swell sign nonetheless.

oh snap! corie's job title is revealed.

i manage knowledge. and if you poke me, i might spew jam (actually, today replace jam with phlegm).

HEY! I WANT THE CIO TITLE! i guess i would have to be on the upper echelon for that one, though.

This explains why some selections just hover in the vending machine necessitating violent shaking (of the machine) or slamming or even...kicking to force the sucker to fall into the slot.
Jam is the culprit. It's stuck in there with jam.
Aha! Now I know the truth.

Does the jam squirt out when you press C10? That would be kind of cool.

oh snap indeed!!

Jam is indeed a valid concern, but I'm frankly more excited about the hyphenation of "machi-ne."

And isn't "Jam in the Machine" an old Police album?
