Sick Bean

My little Oybean is sick, and I am quite worried.

are you taking him into the shop? i hope he turns out all right! my older cat has been barfing a lot recently, but that's not exactly uncommon behavior.

i thought irv's barfing was just the normal course of things, as well...then he started trying to hide it (that sounds weird, but he was: ex. folding the run OVER the barf, barfing in the tub, etc). i got home last night to find his inner eyelids showing and eyes glazed...and he keeps hiding from me. he has a vet appt tonight. sniffle. i hope he's okay. i know i sound like a crazy cat lady, but he's my baby.

you are crazy cat lady! but it's understandable.

When my cat Olga was sick, she actually seemed to be embarassed. She was throwing up and pooping in strange places around the house and she tended to cover her mess with towels, rugs, newspapers. She would also sit and stare at the wall with a body language that said dont come near me. It was really sad and nerve wracking, but it turned out only to be a urinary tract infection - so no real problem.
I hope that Irving will be fine.

When did "crazy" and "cat lady" become so intertwined? Filling your house and heart with cute little beasties might well prevent mental instability.
Of course, gargantuan vet bills and feline suppositories (morning and night) could have the opposite effect...

I hate to hear (or rather read) that. I'm pulling for her (and you).

Let's all hope Irving does NOT need feline suppositories.
Hopefully he just has a minor infection or flu. Cats that don't feel good look so sad. If he were human, I'd give him some chicken soup.

Oh no! I hope Irving feels better soon.

I'm sure he's just having a reaction to the upcoming Republican National Convention. Animals are usually the first to feel it.
