Quick Kitchen Update
Reports from Southern Vermont confirm the completion of my stainless steel countertop. Yay! And no, that is not my kitchen, though I wish that it was.

you know, there is nothing quite like peeling that layer of pvc off the stainless steel.

Jay, that table was in our house in Mt. Sinai at one point or another-- it was my grandmother's. It's a piece from Hunt Country Furniture.

...and the coolest part is that the entire counter 27"x62" cost $115 plus some plywood. I saw a 24x60 top on line the other day for $598.
