And While I'm At It...
Does anyone remember The Adventures of Pete and Pete? I'd forgotten all about this show (which I adored well past the age I probably should have) until I was looking for pictures of Harriet the Spy. Michelle Trachtenberg, who played Harriet in the movie and is probably best known for her role on Buffy, was in Pete & Pete. Hot damn I loved that show.
And while I'm at it...
Does anyone remember Eerie, Indiana? That was another short lived show that I loved dearly. And what about Parker Lewis Can't Lose?
For a kid who wasn't allowed to watch anything but PBS until middle school, I certainly made up for my deprivation with a healthy load of sitcom crap.
Synchronize Swatch watches...

Ah, Kubiak. That was some quality television viewing. I wonder whatever happened to Parker Lewis.

The movie Snow Day was originally written as The Adventures of Pete and Pete Movie but due to a variety of issues was made as a standalone. and as for Parker Lewis (Corin Nemic) I guess he has done a bunch but mainly I think of him as playing rapists in Lifetime-esque movies.

Most recently saw Parker Lewis on one of those awful UPN or WB sci-fi shows...he's grown quite handsome.

Looking at the picture of the PL cast, didn't some of the others move onto other shows? They all look so familiar, like they're on other stupid sitcoms today. Hmm.
I was wondering about UP9 the other day. Do they only show sci-fi movies and Buffy the Vampire Slayer?

Pete (Mike Maronna) went to high school with me. Lets just say he differed a lot from his character by the time he reached high school...

Parker Lewis - one of the great all time shows. I hope they re-release it now that I have a TiVo.

Pete and Pete was seriously my favorite show ever. ever. I have about six episodes on my computer. mmm. yes. and the music Polaris did for the show was so awesome.
and remember the Secret World of Alex Mack? A little later I think. My friend Courtney now has a screenwriting class with her, which is just mind-boggling.
and Michelle's character's name was Nona, and she was my idol. she was just... so weird.

Dude! Totally! Nona was my idol, too...but now I'm feeling rather sheepish, as I think I'm about 8 years older than you, Samm. At least I'm young at heart...or really immature.

don't worry, you're only as old as your media demographic ;)
my dad still watches some cartoons, and, well, he's pretty crazy, but he's youthful!
