Oh, the Pictures We Find

scary.jpg

While looking for something to illustrate a post about not being able to stop sneezing (Is anyone else having massive allergy problems? I am, and I don't even have allergies. I sneezed eight times in a row yesterday.), I found this beauty of an old photograph.

In the spirit of Jimmy Legs' flippant "bad picture" challenge (see comments from "New Head" post), I thought I'd share.

Image stats:

Date: 1994-ish
Age: 16-ish
Location: Cedar Beach, NY (Lawn Guy-land)
Event: Local punk/garage band concert

Yes, those are huge buns on my head. No, this was not a Halloween costume. BING! Jimmy Legs, you're it!

Exhibit B, though you can't really see the buns...but you can see my pre-Neighborhoodies shirt, "FLOWER."

Yes, that certainly was a low point in your history of hair fashion choice! I knew if I just held my breath it would pass.

I'll never forget the comment you bestowed upon me at the Tanger outlet center, sometime around that time period, "Sometimes I'm embarrassed to walk down the street with you." Hmm...

Actually, I still like a good double-bun hair day, just not that big...and without so much black makeup :P

nah, it doesn't look that bad. and you still look pretty much the same, except without the black makeup. that's a good thing. now, you can slip into those high schools.

Hmm. Is that a compliment? You'd think 10 years might change things...

a gothed-up chick with a snotty look on her face still looks pretty good to me, regardless of hair concept. these pictures simply aren't bad enough!

anyway, if we have to go into ancient history, we're sailing into some verrry dangerous waters! i submit the first picture on this page: http://www.jimmylegs.com/album04.htm as proof that there are some things Man was not meant to know about himself.

Whoa! That's a lot of hair. In fact, we might have been mistaken for one another from behind-- I went through that grunge phase.

Touché! Wait until I post my old passport picture tomorrow.

looks like a picture from star wars....

actually, i kind of think it resembles julia stiles a la save the last dance.

and i'm kind of sad that with my short hair, i can no longer do double buns or pippi longstocking braids.
