Color on a Drab Day

Cute snow boots, Manhattan-bound (F) train.
There was a rather large snowdrift at my front door this morning that I staggered into blindly, as it was 6:00 a.m. and I was on a mission to buy the paper. My pajamas were not happy about this foray into early snow, let alone my legs.
After waiting out three packed (F) trains at the 7th Avenue station, one finally came that I felt comfortable boarding without having a sea of pom-pom hats bonking me in the face every two seconds. I even got a seat...and my crankiness was abated slightly by the appearance of two bright pink snow boots directly across from me.

I know you are jealous, and want a pair yourself.

why no home delivery of the times? not that you wouldn't have to walk downstairs to get it. and you would probably have to go into the snow anyway. hmm, nevermind.
and i think you should have just crammed yourself into the train, pom poms be dammed.

nah-- home delivery comes later than if i just go out and get it. plus, if i have to put shoes on, i might as well walk a block or so.
i hate cramming myself into trains...i'd rather be late to work.

I have those boots, although really they are rain boots and not any good for snow, unless you're only going to be out for five minutes. They are rubber and totally unlined so your feet would freeze!
