HEAVEN

sesame_figures_series1.jpg

I love the (old school) Muppets. I adore (old school) Sesame Street. I am ecstatic about the new Sesame Street figures that will be released shortly in March 2004.

Series I
Ernie (with Rubber Duckie and a banana)
Bert (with Bernice the Pigeon)
Cookie Monster (with cookies and a tea cup)
Super Grover (with cape and helmet)
Oscar (with Slimey and his trashcan)

Series II
Big Bird
Guy Smiley
The Count
Telly
The Two-Headed Monster

I'm a little surprised not to see Snuffy on the list, but then again, he really was supposed to be invisible. I still haven't forgiven Sesame Street for suddenly making him visible with no explanation. ToysRUs also has Waldorf and Stadler, my two favorite Muppets (complete with chairs and Muppet VEGETABLES!).

Anyone who obtains these action figures for me will receive my love for all eternity.

supergrover was always one of my faves, but now that i think of it, why did he wear that centurion style helmet? it's like the helmet worn by marvin the martian in the looney toons.

the helmet was for when he crashed! which he always did when flying in for a landing.

my personal favorite was always oscar, not just for our similar personalities but for the fact that he could hoard so much stuff in one small garbage can, including his pet elephants and his buddy slimey (my second favorite sesame street character).

those are sweet looking.

wait, all someone has to do to get your eternal love is to buy you those? i suspect people are lining up.

hmm. note that i didn't define what my eternal love was equal to :P

but when it comes to childhood-regressive satisfaction, i'm easy.
